Needs expert opinion -- RPD
Hi All
I am working in hospital where 4 major domains
- Financial
- Administration
- Treatment
- Diagnostic
I have created on connection pool in RPD for financial and developed some objects suchas analysis, KPI, dashboards etc, now I have some requirements in other domains too, what is recommendation either I should add dimensions / facts in existing connection pool or create new connection pool for every domain.

Connection pools are more data source than logical areas.
Other than writeback I would not see the need to duplicate a connection pool once it is set up.

Additionally, you only need a single connection pool to a single data source so if all 4 domains are all from the same data source, then a single connection pool is sufficient. You may have a scenario where you may need separate connection pools even if the domains are from the same source if there are some security requirements which apply to a specific domain

Yes - I did have second thoughts and actually came back to append that you might need to apply a different security model for row level security or similar - though in those cases I have seen the requirement be so extreme that the only option is to duplicate the business model / presentation layer.
