OBIEE 12c Run action with select list option

Hi Guys I would like to run the action using the selection list as a parameter , is it possible ?

The default field is String .

I was able to modify the xml file for a given action by changing the "type" field from "string" to "date" in the parameters , but i need something like select list or option field form.

I would like to be able to choose a value from the list in input "Value"

    A drop down list isn't a data type.

    Valid types for the parameters are:

    Capture.PNG

    What you ask for isn't the type of parameter as that's just the datatype, so you are looking for something else.

    so, what's the best way if i want to have the opportunities to choose the value from select list ? 

    Regarding your expression, the  type = "document"  is also not a data type and I have the option of creating such a type in my "Value1" parameter. In the picture below:
