OBIEE 11.1.1.9 HFM integration - Failed to find environment variable COMPONENT_NAME

Hi
I've installed OBIEE in a distributed server environment. I want to integrate OBIEE to HFM which is on a separate server. I've installed financial management ADM driver on the OBIEE server by installing Financial Management SDK and configured FM.
I have also included the EPM_ORACLE_HOME and EPM_ORACLE_INSTANCE variables in the opmn.xml file. I've added the EPM jar files ($EPM_ORACLE_HOME/common/jlib/11.1.2.0/epm_hfm_web.jar$:$EPM_ORACLE_HOME/common/jlib/11.1.2.0/epm_j2se.jar$:) to the classpath parameter. I then restarted BI services.
To add a new repository I then ran bi-init.cmd and the Admintool. I'm using connection type Hyperion ADM, but when clicking on Next I get an error "...Failed to find environment variable COMPONENT_NAME on start --exiting!...." Please find screenshot attached.
Looking at the bi-init.cmd file, it looks like you have to declare the argument for COMPONENT_NAME when running the bi-init.cmd file. But I don't know what this argument should be or what the COMPONENT_NAME variable should be set to.
Anyone can help me to move forward?
Thank you.
Chris.

Last time I did that it was 2015 and 11.1.1.9 was freshly GA (the very first version supporting Planning out of the box).
The thing is that I don't remember having installed anything on the OBIEE side, everything is there already.
I just had to tell my Admintool where was the BI Server as the client can't import Planning, it must be done by the BI Server.
The URL of the driver was also quite different than yours:
URL = adm:thin:com.hyperion.ap.hsp.HspAdmDriver:<Server>:<Port>:<Application>
So ... what exact version of OBIEE, HFM are you using? Which document are you following for the setup?

I'm using OBIEE 11.1.1.9 with HFM 11.1.2.4
I've followed the steps set out in John Goodwin's blog: More to life...: HFM 11.1.2.4 as a data source in OBIEE

Unfortunately I haven't gotten anything as old as 11.1.1.9 around to test but john's blog post was the way to go back then.

My bad, skipped the fact you asked about HFM and I was talking about Planning ... (no idea why I switch to the other one).
Did you try looking on MOS? I believe there have been bunch of documents there too covering how to import HFM metadata into various versions of OBIEE.

Yes I have. I have googled and searched the knowledge base and tried every bit of advice. I’m thinking there is something wrong with the OBIEE installation. I need to find out what component_name is all about and where this variable should be coming from.
I have also logged an SR.

With regards to the latter - I think you'd be faster with a new instance on a VM
