Track Usage in OBIEE 12c based on a prompt value chosen

Hi,

We have a requirement to create an usage tracking report which should show values based on the prompt chosen on the dashboard. Currently  we created a scenario where we have a presentation variable created for the prompt whose values need to be tracked and are passing it's value to the report. As it is a presentation variable it is dynamically changing as the value of the prompt changes. The values should be static as we would like to see data for all the different values chosen.

Let me know if you guys need any further information.

Any ideas are highly appreciated.

    I have to say I don't understand what you are trying to do there. Are you simply asking how to filter an analysis based on a presentation variable?

    Because what you describe has nothing to do with Usage Tracking and sounds generically like "we have a prompt that fills a variable - how do I filter using that variable?".

    You'll have to be more specific. Also it's very confusing that you talk about dynamic values and then say "the values should be static".
