OBIEE 11g: changing the default line width in graphs to 1px
I need to change the default line width in OBIEE 11.1.1.9 line graphs to 1px. I have seen the question answered in several places, but the answers don't work in our installation. This post says to edit the file “..\Middleware\Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\msgdb\s_blafp\viewui\chart\dvt-graph-skin.xml”, but I do not have an s_blafp folder in Oracle_BI1\bifoundation\web\msgdb. Searches for that file (or *skin* or *graph* elsewhere in the middleware tree yield no useful results. Another post says the folder within msgdb should be s_FusionFX, but we don't have that either. Does anyone know if it is possible to set the default line width at the system level?
Thanks.
Richard

OBIEE 11.1.1.9 Default Graph Skins

But the correct way is a custom deployment. Changing the vanilla core files is simply wrong.
Edit: Also 11.1.1.9 is out of error correction support since December 2018 so it may be a good idea to upgrade.

Thank you, Christian. I had ignored all files that were in a tmp folder, but apparently "tmp" does not stand for "temporary"? You response has given me an avenue to investigate.
Regarding 11.1.1.9, I would LOVE to upgrade to 12.*, but our OBIEE installation is part of a clinical application installation, and this was the latest version of OBIEE that is certified, as of a few months back. I'll check on this again.
Thanks again.

You mean it's part of OBIA?
Many clients upgraded the OBIEE part to the latest version and leave the OBIA bits at whatever old version that uses :-) Luckily OBIEE is totally independent and not tied to the outdated OBI*A* parts.
