Hello,

This issue is coming after sudden shutdown of Linux box on which OBIEE 12c is installed, Below is the error from Sawlog :

[OBIPS] [ERROR:1] [] [saw.securitysubsystem.checkauthentication.runimpl] [ecid: 2eb3aed7-2013-408b-8f99-da43cde607bf-0002fc6c,0:3:1] [tid: 1732925184] [SI-Name: ] [IDD-Name: ] [IDD-GUID: ] [userId: ]

Odbc driver returned an error (SQLDriverConnectW).[[

File:checkauthentication.cpp

Line:1595

Location: saw.securitysubsystem.checkauthentication.runimpl saw.threadpool.asynclogon saw.threads]]

Tried many things but didn't got success like creating new user in console with administrator privilege and then tried log in to BI analytics but still facing the same issue.

Please share your views if you have any idea about this issue. Also let me know if any more information is required.

Thanks!

Have you checked other logs than just the OBIPS log?

Have you already done a full, graceful shutdown and startup?

I have checked all the logs but I didn't found any errors in other log files, I did full shutdown 2-3 times but It didn't helped.

Above mentioned error is coming up in Em>Log messages after log in into Analytics:

  • Is there somebody able to login into OBIEE? (Users from a LDAP or AD?)
Or you are totally locked outside OBIEE and only access to Weblogic parts works?

We don't have external ldap, we are using default authentication(embeded ldap). No user is able to log in into BI Analytics.

There must be more information in the logs. Push up the logging and check the files:
