Recent dashboards per user file location
Hi All,
We are building a corporate BI portal and would like to present there recent dashboards per user as we have it now on the Home page in OBIEE analytics.
The question is - where is this data located?
Thanks
Michael

You could get that info from Usage Tracking, would be the most precise and custom tailored per user way to have a list of recent objects the user looked at.
UT being a table in the database make it super easy to use.

You're not detailing much about your situation or requirement ( ) , so the best approach is to point you to the integrator's guide with the web services:

UT can give you that but since all objects follow the baked-in security you can retrieve objects through the APIs after you have done a proper login and established a valid session.
The question is very vague, but without proper context and security is is anyways a questionable proposition.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.
Where can I find this Usage Tracking table? Should I enable this feature or its enabled by default?
Thanks
Michael

Usage Tracking is not ON by default. It has to be configured:
