Dynamic Prompt Value Change in Column Heading using Request Variable in OBIEE

Question

Hi Team,

Am Using OBIEE 11g version. We have a prompt which is Variable Prompt with Request Variable using few custom values.

When ever user selects the Column value from the Prompt(Request Variable) ,that value pass to my column heading in the Report. It behave as Dynamic Column Heading changes as when ever user switch one value from another in the Prompt selection those value should pass to my Report heading.

Can some one guide or tell the work around to achieve this requirement.

Are you using the right syntax?

A request variable is a way to set the value of a session variable. So you need to use the right syntax to reference it ...

Here am using my variable Type as Request variable in the Prompt. I can achieve my requirement using Presentation Variable but i want to use Variable Prompt as Request Variable.
