Dear Joel,
Yes this part is clear
Aaccording to the 12.2.1.4 certification matrix, OBIEE q2.2.1.4 is certified to work with Windows 2016, SQL Server 2016.

adding informatica , dac, dw supports Windows 2016, SQL Server 2016 as per the new cert matrix
I want to know about obiee 11g with OBIA7964 will it supports Windows 2016, SQL Server 2016?
as part of dual headed we have to install,
MachineA--obiee 11g +obia 7964
machineB--obiee 12C

Without even checking, I can tell you that it won’t be supported because the OS and DB are newer than OBIEE 11g. I would strongly suggest that you move away from 11g which is very old to say the least.
if you need 11g, then you’d need a dedicated server with an older OS that it is certified to run on. As you’re aware, Oracle no longer support 11g.

But if you read below document oracle says even you are not using OBIEE 11g you should maintain the setup
Alert: OBIA 796: Support of BI Applications 7.9.6.3 & 7.9.6.4 with OBIEE 12.2.1(12C) ( Doc ID 2087632.1 )
Can you please conform is it required to use the OBIEE 11g setup as per the above document.
Thanks

Not sure what you still expect in here.
1.) You will only ever get a 100% official answer through an SR. We do not work for Oracle.
2.) I take it that you are aware that the OBI11g won't be used for anything but to move things into 12c once and is then completely useless? I.e....
3.) ...the 11g OBI will never run productively. Which makes your question somewhat redundant.
