OBIEE Usage Tracking Stopped Working 2016 - 11.1.1.7.140225 (Build 140209.2017
Hi all
We noticed that as of 2016 our usage tracking logs seem to have "stopped working"
We were able to trace our issue back to the S_ETL_DAY table.
It looks like there are two scripts used to populate this table when initially made
Oracle_create_nQ_Calendar.sql and Oracle_create_nQ_Clock.sql
When checking these scripts we noticed that they only go up to 2016.
Has Oracle released a new version of this script to populate post 2016?
Would hate to have to manually type out all the insert statements......

Do you actually have data in S_NQ_ACCT and S_NQ_DB_ACCT? These are the Usage Tracking tables that OBIEE writes to.
It might use S_ETL_DAY when reporting the data (and an inner join to it with no 2016 rows could give the illusion of "no Usage Tracking data")

And as @rmoff says your usage tracking perfectly works, it's only your reports not showing data for 2016, but your DB is still collecting all the info.

+1 Oracle may provide a script at some time but since it's basically nothing different from what was done at the initial loading of S_ETL_DAY you can also just take the script from OBIA and rewrite it to your needs. I.e. have it start when your S_ETL_DAY stops and continue until the year 2100 or something.

If yes you can download it from there, if no then nobody can post it as it would be illegal ...
