How to use PV in a formula

Hi Team,

I have a requirement like,

upon selecting the month prompt then the report has to display sales in the first row Jan to selected month and the next row has to display the selected month +1 to till December sales. let me explain in detail.

If I select the prompt in the month as April then the report has to display sales from Jan to Apr in the first row and the next row as May to Dec sales.

    Apart from what's written in that article: is that really a "report" you're talking about?

    Because an "analysis" (which is the proper OBI term) is technologically as close to a "report" (which is a BI Publisher object) as a Ferrari is to a school bus just because both are vehicles.
