How do i design a report for mobile

Question

Hello everyone, i am using OBNIEE 12.2.1.3.0

i have designed report and they are working with no problem , i would like to transform them to Mobile reports.

1st question : Is there any difference between designing reports for Android and Iphones ?

2d question : What is the best way to create mobile reports

3rd question : Do i have to redesign all the report (and how can i do that ) , or is there any way to transform my analysis ( existing analysis ) to mobile analysis.

OBIEE 12c by default is already mobile by itself (while 11g was a nightmare and really only worked with the app) being HTML5.

Obviously a phone screen is in portrait mode by default and is also quite small compared to anything else.

If you leave all the "style" settings as defaults (so not settings width and other sizing) the app can more easily adapt thing to the screen but only with some limits.

Did you try with "simple" analysis first to find the global rules of what works better on the app?

It's like for printing: there aren't universal rules other than try, test, change, try, test, change and keep repeating till you find settings working fine for your needs.

i want to visualize my report through Oracle BI Mobile , actually when i connect to my reports i need to scroll ( left right ) to see the whole report , its not adapted to the screen.

What is a "Mobile report" for you?

Define this and all your questions will be easier to answer, otherwise there are multiple options.
