Obiee 12.2.1 teradata database connectivity

Hello all,

We are trying to set up obiee 12c connection with teradata 12.. we have added the odbc entry in odbc.ini in config/core/odbc.ini..

Now what are the entries to be added in rpd connection pool..the server IP of database in odbc.ini .  can we create a odbc in the system where admin tool installed and it can be used for reporting.

    Did you google that? Many wrote about this ....

    If you setup an ODBC connection in your OS, in the RPD you must identify the ODBC connection you setup. If you enter an IP of the server, why did you setup an ODBC connection in the first place?

    If your ODBC is on the system with the Admin tool, you can't expect OBIEE to be able to use it. The OBIEE server will not connect to the system with the admin tool to use an ODBC setup there. The ODBC must be available on the OBIEE server itself.
