I am running an analysis in a Subject Area A, I do not see the results, the page loads and says "Retrieving data please wait."

I am able to retrieve the SQL generated and run it against the DB and it works.

In the sane instance I am able to run the analysis in a different subject area B which is pointing to a different DB.

Please suggest.

    What setting does that SA use in its underlying connection pool? Is that even correct?

    Yes, It is connected. I am able to click on import metadata and connect to the DB.

    However, when I try to view the data from the physical tables logging into online rpd it keeps on loading...

    So that means that whatever the BI server does to connect to the database isn't what happens when you yourself connect with SQLDev or the likes.

    What does the connection pool do EXACTLY? What are the detailed settings? Are there any connection scripts?

    We did a OBIEE server restart and the issue is fixed. Do not know the reason of the issue.
