What Bug does this address, because all of the documentation that I can find list the incorrect bug number.

Is that bug included in Bundle Patch 30768593?

Thank you

Why are you asking this? A patch fixes a problem you're having in your installation. If you don't have the problem you don't need the patch. You don't normally go and download random patches and apply them if you don't need them.

As @Christian Berg mentioned, you don't apply patches unless your instance needs the patch fix. It isn't clear from your original post if you have this problem in your instance.

Did you search on support.oracle.com for details of the patch?

We are having the problem even after the application of the 30768593 bundle patch. When I run OPatch lsinventory I can see the bugs that have been fixed but the documentation on the Oracle Web site incorrectly gives the bug number for patch 27623149 (hence my question), so I cannot see if it has been applied and "fixed" on my system. If it has been applied, then I need to do some further digging into why we are having this issue. In fact I don't want to download and apply a random patch, which is why I ran the Opatch lsinventory to begin with.

    I appreciate your assistance.

OPatch lsinventory should give you the definitive list a bugs fixed. If the bug is listed and still not fixed then this is something that you will need to raise with Oracle support.

If something that is stated as "fixed in" BP 200414 and it doesn't work then you must open a Service Request.

The bug itself is not public so we can't see its real "fixed in version" but looking at the versions the patch exists for it's rather a one-off patch that hasn't been ported to the latest BP.

  • Hi 2958425,

(please update your DisplayName with your human name :-) )

Patch 27623149 is related to report level filters not working via an action link.
Note: You can always type the patch number in My Oracle Support to see MOS notes, etc. to help you identify.
In this case, the issue was first reported in 12.2.1.3.

If you need that patch with 12.2.1.4.200414, please file a Service Request with Oracle Support, as they are uniquely qualified to assist you with that.
