Passing value from one prompt to other prompt between pages in dashboard

hi,
i have 2 pages(P1, P2) in one dashboard(D1).
P1 page has prompt - PM1 and Report - R1
P2 page has prompt - PM2 and Report - R2
i have two different columns Organisation and institution.but both columns has more or less same data But those are two different columns.
PM1 Columns - Organisation
R1 Columns - Organisation and revenue
PM2 Columns - Institution
R2 Columns - Institution and revenue
i have action link in page P1 which is navigates to Page P2.my issue is I want to pass whatever value in PM1(Organisation), need to pass to PM2(institution) in Page 2.
ANyone suggest me me how can I pass value across prompts for different columns.

Hi,
Did you consider using filter based on results of another analysis? As the data between the two columns is more or less the same, it might work.

Edit: Looks like the revenue has both the dimensions. So, where is the issue? If you filter the second report by Org, then that should also work, right?

When you create the prompt select the option to load the value into a presentation variable, near the bottom I think, then use this variable to populate the default in the other prompt and also use in reports.
