DSN configuration after SSL migration for OBIEE 12c

Question

Hi all,

I could not able to configure DSN connection for SSL, after SSL migration for accessing OBIEE RPD online through BI admin tool.

my SSL port is 9503 and non-SSL port is 9502, configured in weblogic console.

But when am going through DSN configuration, there was an DSN configured for Non-SSL with port 9514 and it is working now.

Configured non-SSL connection with port-9514 instead of 9502, where 9502 is actual port for non-SSL configured in weblogic console.

And i could see, connection successful.

Now am trying to configure with SSL port which 9503, getting error.

Using the same login, getting below error.

How 9514 port is working for non-SSL connection, instead of 9502?

And where can i see this is configured?

How to identify the port for SSL configuration for DSN?

Please guide me to resolve this issue, thanks in advance.

You're never saying exactly WHAT or HOW you SSL'ed. If you're talking about 9502 and 9503, then you're talking about AdminServer and Managed Server. You are not touching any of the components when you're modifying those two ports.

So you need to provide much more detailed information. SSL'ing components isn't the one switch you change in WLS console.

thanks gianni. now i got cleared for non-SSL port..

One more question here is, recently i have configured SSL and i want update the DSN configuration with using SSL port.

So where can i find the port of SSL for BI server in EM console?
