Renaming relation options at DV - OAS 5.5.0

Hello Experts,

How I can rename below circled items in DV. For example PERS_GENDER to Gender and IND_POLICY_HOLDER to Policy Holder Indicator?

Version is OAS 5.5.0

    What is your data source? The RPD or a data set?

    If RPD, then you rename in the RPD. If data set, then in the data set.

    If you don't clean in either RPD or the data set, then you will always pay later. Do correct work once instead of correcting 500 times each time you use it.

    Hi Chris,

    My data source is RPD.

    I agree that renaming at RPD is best way to have name consistency and minimal effort in renaming.

    However there may be scenario when customer wants a slight change in name in different places like M in DV, Male in BI Answer and MALE in BI publisher etc.

    I know how to rename at BI Answers , however can I conclude that such renaming is not possible at DV if data source is subject area?

    Also is it possible to change data type in DV? for example double to number etc?

    I managed it through calculation section and guess that is the only way in DV.
