User Authentication Issue

Hello Experts,

The query is regarding OBIEE 12.2.1.3.

I could not see BIP report option enabled (XMLPServer):

If I try the option create BIP report from Analytics page , it throws error "Unauthored access"

Then I verified roles assigned to user at EM and I could see only 2 roles assigned to user BI Content Author and BI Content Consumer

then I thought that BI Data Model Author role is required so I should add it.

However it is not getting listed here.

I remember that when I was using OAS5.5.0 then I saw below roles listed by default:

Now coming to actual issue, any guideline on this will be a great help please !!!

You are confusing application roles names with their privileges.

The name of a role doesn't mean anything, your role can be called "BI God of all the Admins" but not giving you access to anything.

Don't look at names but look at privileges and policies assigned to the roles.
