Can a histogram be created in OBIEE? I know how to create a bar chart, but I want to have a chart where the bins are sized automatically, and the count can be on the Y axis.
Hi,
Did you try using the functions for binning?

Hi Gianni, thanks for sending over that link. Interestingly, bin and width_bucket are not available functions in my report. I'll have to look into our version of OBIEE to see if we can enable the functions. This should hopefully work once I can get access.
You didn't say anything about your version and I thought you were on the latest OBIEE.
These functions have been added in 12c if I'm not wrong.
Worth considering an upgrade, maybe directly to OAS, if you are on anything before 12c.

Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
