obiee Data Management Pack.--Do We need that..

We already have OBIEE 12g. There is a discussion on whether OBI Data Management PAck will be needed or not. Any feedback/advice is appreciated.

What would be some of advantages or disadvantages.

The question is if you have OEM, because if you don't, you have your answer already...
