OBIEE 12c with SQL Server 2012 data source, frequently getting "connection destroyed due to timeout

Hi Gurus,

We are on obiee 12.2.1.3 using SQL Server 2012 as data source. Recently some of our users are frequently getting errors when accessing reports.

On front end, users see errors such as: [nQSError: 43081] Illegal Operation attempted on a closed session. Please have your system administrator look at the log for more details on this error.


When i checked logs, i see

[OBIS] [notification:1] [ecid:] [sik:ssi] [tid:7dc] Connection pool entry for DSN ..................

[OBIS] [notification:1] [ecid:] [sik:ssi] [tid:7dc] Connection pool exit for DSN ......................

[OBIS] [notification:1] [ecid:] [sik:ssi] [tid:7dc] Connection destroyed due to timeout. ..............

type of messages.


Please share inputs how to fix this...
