How to query and make general dashboards with BSO cubes

Hi community,

Does someone have general information on how to make dashboards and repository with bso cubes. We have made some dashboards with some aso cubes but we don't even know how to make data show up in an analysis with bso cubes. We really don't know much about the difference between these cubes types. Any help or demo or resources would be appreciated.

Thanks Gianni, After talking with someone that has access to smartview about what is necessary to pass to get data (had to specific several dimensions) then we were able to see some data.

If you managed to do it with an ASO cube just do the the same.

ASO or BSO cubes in the end are cubes...

The main different is how you build your cubes as they probably contains different things with different structures.

Also don't forget that an ASO cubes automagically aggregate when you query it, a BSO cube doesn't do almost anything by itself, so if you don't calculate it you generally don't have all the aggregates etc.

If you didn't manage to get data from your BSO the issue is probably more your cube itself: does it have any data? is it calculated? (if you use SmartView do you have something out?) did you model it right? etc.
