OBIEE 12.2.1.3 , accessing reports of a user in his "My Folders" who left the Company a year ago

Hi Gurus,

Here is our problem.

We used to have a user A and he left the company a year ago. He created and saved some reports in his "My Folders".

Today another user B reached us asking she would like to access those reports of user A.

--- How to achieve this ?

--- Wondering will those reports even exist in the catalog (he left a year ago)

Please throw some suggestions..

    If user A is still a valid user, give user B the "act as" privileges to behave as user A: she will be able to act as user A, archive the needed things and unarchive them in a shared folder location.

    Thanks Gianni, this sounds good but wonder what else we can do if user A is no longer a valid user (left an year ago)

    Use Catalog Manager in offline mode, it gives you access to the whole catalog without enforcing security, find what you need, move it somewhere else, set different permissions allowing new users to do what they need. Don't start messing around by giving user B permissions on user A personal folder, move the content of A somewhere else instead: safer, simpler, nothing to worry about in the future.
