Description
Persistent monitor for resource utilization, for instance CPU/Memory/Storage/Connectivity and availability . The purpose is to alert the Administrator if the service has stopped, stalled or is overloading.
Use Case and Business Need
Proactively alert the administrators of an outage or system resource/capacity issues

Currently, there is no API available to monitor the health of an OAC instance.

The automation of this monitoring process is of utmost importance and moving from a reactive to a proactive mode would be very powerful. For sure the user experience would increase, a lot.

I agree. I'm looking for an alerting option in DV if some of Mail deliveries failed messages or Sequence Failure pop-up's.

We are looking at this feature as well. For performance issue even if we have usage tracking enabled we have no clue on how OAC capacity during that time. We need some kind of metric (or graph similar to IaaS instances) in OCI console would be helpful.

This feature is very critical for monitoring the system health, and must be part of the product.

One option is to use the Metrics monitoring in OCI for query capacity.
