We need the capability to print a single chart built in data visualization (DV) from

Organization Name
United States Sentencing Commission
Description
Currently we can print/export OBIEE/OAS chart build in Analysis from OAS/OBIEE dashboard. But we can't print/export chart build in Data Visualization (DV) from OAS/OBIEE Dashboard.
Use Case and Business Need
Our users require the capability to print a chart built in Data Visualization (DV) when integrated into OAS/OBIEE dashboard pages. Currently they can print all the content in the dashboard page using print features in browser, however there are times when a single DV chart in the dashboard is required. Our application is used by the public to justify or challenge sentences handed down by courts. When presenting a case, a particular data visualization chart is required to illustrate their point. The inability to perform this seemingly simple task can have a negative outcome on the point the individual is making. Please consider addressing this issue as this may have a significant impact on the outcome of court cases.
More details
Please find below screenshot showing OBIEE/OAS dashboard that has map chart that we build in data visualization (DV), and bar chart that we build in Analysis. As you see in screen-shot, we have option to print/export bar chart, but we don't have option to print/export map chart.

This is a very important feature for most of the clients based on my experience.

What would be needed to convert this page to DV project? You can export and print individual visualizations in DV Projects.

Hi Bret,
Technically it can work but it looks like a work-around and not a solution. Specially if application users are top executives, it is difficult to explain them that export feature works only for some visualizations from dashboard and not for others and they need to go through multiple steps to take an export.
There should be consistent experience specially Enterprise Application such as OAC.
Thanks,
Bhavin
