ORACLE EPM SAAS Connector - Linking To Other Data Sets Not Possible

When connecting to Oracle EPM using the Smart SAAS connector we are not able to link data sets to EPM Cloud data sets. This was possible using legacy RPD connection.

Use Case and Business Need

One of the biggest drivers in using OACS for reporting is the ability to link and display data sets from multiple data sources. The new connector doesn't allow linking of data sets.

Historically we would link source transactions to EPM data in OACS to enable drill down into transactions and EPM balances data in one view in OAC based on one selection.

We need the OAC capability to come full circle for Oracle EPM Cloud Sources

Currently joining EPM with other datasets is only possible when the EPM App is mapped into a subject area (blending of subject areas with other datasets is possible today). The ability to do that with the DV connector is WIP.
