Conditional Formatting in a chart based on another column
Description
I found this on MOS and this seems to be the latest version of this oft-requested feature. This should be prioritized. |
Use Case and Business Need
Need a simplistic way of showing a red-light color format for a metric (Actuals vs Budget being the most requested example) in a bar chart/graph.
Original Idea Number: c801c2c380

Good news this is coming soon and can do your use case above and much much more. You can create rules on your data that controls how that data will be displayed in any viz. The outcome can be quite elaborate with multiple rules in play at the same time on the same data element on the same viz.
I can't give you an exact date but it is in the final stages of development.
Cheers
Jacques

That's great to hear jacques vigeant! Is it safe to assume that the functionality will make its way to both DV and Classic?

Hi jacques vigeant , any word on when these conditional formatting features will be delivered? Sometime this year maybe? (Fingers crossed).
