Your concern and argument makes a lot of sense. The planning for this feature has started, and we don't have a release timeline to share yet.

This is a very critical functionality for us to be able to promote DV for users.

This option is very much needed as data flows and its related objects are user independent as of now. And if owner exit/under any unforeseen case, then the data flow etc. will remain orphan.
It would be good if the permissions setup is provided same like dataset/connection/project

some people start asking me to re-run my data flows to get an updated dataset.
I'd like to simply share the data flow so others can be independent.0 -
Hi Bret Grinslade, do you have updates you can provide to us on this idea? It would definitely be helpful if we are able to share these data flows properly with other users for self-service and efficient data flow management especially when owners are out of the office.0

The change to allow us to grant others rights to Data Flows has been on the 'roadmap' for over a year. Is this change actually planned for a future release yet?

Yes it is planned. We are finishing some improvements around admins having a way to address issues (such as an employee leaving the company). Once these are completed, we will work on enabling data flow sharing.

This is amazing and would give us flexibility, as in our team we have full visibility over each member's projects and we can help each other anytime, even on holidays or forced days off. Many thanks guys!

We are excited to see this feature implemented. It will give admins the ability to help troubleshoot them with customers as well as allow teams to collaborate on them.
