Partial Interactivity in Narrate

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
Description (Required): There is the option to toggle full interactivity on or off when creating a story in narrate mode; however, there is currently not an option to allow partial interactivity. This means that users can interact with part of a canvas (i.e. change filters) but other parts of the canvas remain "locked" and can only be viewed.
Use Case and Business Need (Required): The filters at the top of a canvas filter/change the whole canvas when modified. There are cases when we would want to "lock" one filter at the top but allow users to interact with the other filters at the top. We would want to "lock" a top filter if changing this filter changes the main idea/goal of the dashboard. The idea is that the person creating the story can decide which filters others can interact with. Right now, it is all or nothing.

We will be adding richness to the interactivity choices. However, for this specific scenario -- you can accomplish it by moving the filters you want the consumer users to interact with to the canvas. There are visualization controls for doing on-canvas filters. Disable the interactivity (which will hide the filter bar), set the filter bar to the canvas-wide filter, and then create on-canvas filters for the filters that users can change.
