Organization Name
General Electric Company
Description
Currently we u can create data sets from data stored in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets (XLSX and XLS ), CSV files, and TXT files. The maximum file size we can upload is 250 MB and the data column limit for a single file is 250 columns. But we have a Excel and CSV files which are bigger than 250MB file size and needs to create data sets using them.
Due to size restriction we could not able to use bigger than 250MB files.

Hi,
Agree.
At config side or somewhere else, an option to control size of input file can be helpful.

Is there a specific max size and max number of columns that you think would work for your current scenarios?

Hi
As per our current project requirements we are looking for 1GB or 2GB of files should be able to upload. Many of our projects were on hold due to this 250MB limitation.
Could you please prioritize provide any solution or patch for our OAS environemnt.
Please let us know if you need any other information.

Until we have some product improvement -- a work around some customers are using is to use external files with ADW and then connect as a table.
