Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):

Oracle

Description (Required):

Currently (OAC version 6.3), Conditional Formatting cannot be applied on Grand Total numbers (example in printscreen attached > Grand Total columns, right hand side), which defaults to gray, regardless of the conditional formatting applied on that column.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

Business needs to be able to easily see which information they need to check first (i.e. Red/Green numbers). Using the conditional formatting will help them identify KPIs that are meet or missed and extending Conditional Formatting to apply on Grand Total generated columns will help them even more.

This will be a critical feature as sales leaders are having trouble finding grand totals easily

  • Hello,

This is more difficult to support than you would imagine. the totals are calculated on the table after the data is retrieved. Also the totals are not necessarily simple sums on the viz which adds extra complexity.

Having said that we are looking at this for a future release but no timeline has been set yet.

In the meantime, if you create a Calculation and use that on your table then you could create a CF rule on the Total calc.

    Have you tried that ?
