Enhance the DV Home page for end users - hide sections such as data flow on Home Page

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):

Description (Required):
An Post (Partner is Vertice) wants to permanently hide Sections of the OAS DV Home page from end users
i.e Data flows, data sets, Dashboards and reports sections highlighted in the screenshot below. I understand that the Home can be customised by a user but they do not want users being able to make the sections mentioned visible. Is this possible? I have taken a look at the instanceconfig.xml but can't see anything that looks like it can do this.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I think this can not be permanently hide because it is specific for each user and based on the Roles/applications Roles, specific sections can be visible that means Administrator have all sections visible whereas Consumer have less section visible. Yes Home page can be customized by User.

Here are a couple of things...
1) if your user is a DV Consumer then they won't see the dataflow/dataset lanes. Make sure you give users the right roles . if they are DV Authors then they will need to see things like Flows and Datasets.
2) We are working home page improvements that will allow you more control over the default home experience for users and groups hopefully for later this year
Cheers

In addition to J's comment, Authors can choose to remove (or add) the Data Flow swim lane on their own home page. We do have plans to introduce alternative landing pages that will be configurable by an admin/owner regardless of the user role.
