Share visualizations saved in My Folder to other users

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of): Oracle Internal
Description (Required): OACS will not allow sharing of visualizations saved to users My Folder. Admin must create folders in the Shared Catalog so users can share
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
Currently, functionality requires creating Shared Folders for every user when each user already has their own folder. It would seem simpler and less administration to allow My Folder visualization sharing.

@JEnglish-Oracle - as its name reveals (My Folder), this folder has never been intended (since early days of the product, when its name has been Siebel Analytics - many folks will remember those days) for storing shared objects (analysis, dashboards, newly DV project) but for serving as a kind of "private area" with access for logged user only. Shared folder in BI catalog are there for storing outputs intended for sharing - it is just up to the organization to structure them based on their needs (meaning creating subfolders and nesting - like file system in OS) and setting up correct permissions for them using application role concep (very flexible and used for ages).

The practice for personal space with the potential to share content is to have a 'user folder' under Shared folders. Users and organizations can choose not to use the private My Folder if needed but it was creates for the purpose of being private content only.
