Add an option to rename a column in the "visualize" tab of data visualization in OAS

Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of):
Description (Required): Please add a feature where customers can rename a column in the "visualize" tab of Data visualization in OAS.
Use Case and Business Need (Required):
This feature is like a custom column heading in the traditional URL.
As a workaround, customers are adding a new calculation. However, they want to use the same column name with different logic in the canvases/visualizations.
For example: "Earned duration" is a column that is used multiple times in the project in different canvases/visualizations. They want to make use of the same column name at different places within the project.
Adding a new calculation will not allow using the same column name again (as the column name has to be unique)There's an option to rename a column in the prepare tab. But this requires remodeling. There should be an option to just rename a column in the visualize tab (like there's an option to change the font size, etc.)
To avoid remodeling in the prepare tab, custom columns can be created at the rpd level, but there will be too many of them.
The requirement is to have an option on DV projects to make use of a custom column heading.
Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand the use case here.
- Let's say that I have column A which I want to rename to B but without changing the source Dataset (meaning the change will apply only in my workbook)
- I create a My Calc called B point to A, now I can use either A or B
It is true that A and B are both going to have one meaning within the workbook, are you saying that you would like B to mean different things in different canvases within the same workbook? Can you explain the use case of such a scenario?

Hello Gabby,
Thank you for checking this.
Requirement: In the same view or any other visualization or any other place within the project, I want to keep the same column name.
I have explained the use case in the attached document. Let me know if any further clarification is needed.
Regards,
Neha

One more request Neha, can you share the function definition of the different Period Quantities?
Regardless, at least for Pivot and Tables, we are going to allow you to change the header title. It is still not going to give you the same name for multiple columns (e.g. filters will still show the column name), but at least on the pivot, you will be able to remove the postfix.

Hello Gabby,
Thank you very much for considering this in the Pivot view, it would be great to have this option incorporated.
Regarding functional differences. Do you want me to explain for all the values?
I'll try with one : so there's a column named as "planned quantity" in the project performance measurement DV project that is used at different places
One canvas (activity report) has "planned quantity" that is planned units
Another canvas (earned duration report) , has "planned quantity" where timestampdiff is being used to determine whether the project has been progressed, if it is then use the earned value, which will be a calculated value in P6, if not just use the planned units
Likewise, same column name is used at different places with different logic.
Please let me know if you want me to elaborate this, would be happy to do so.
Thank you again!

Can you determine when to use which expression based on a CASE statement?

Apologies for the delay,
I'm making use of Primavera as a source to track project performance measurement and I picked a couple of KPIs (Estimate To complete, Estimate at completion, Actual Quantity, Planned quantity, Earned quantity). The name of these KPIs remains the same in different reports (Activity report, Earned Duration, etc.). However, the logic for the KPIs or column names differs, coming from a different source, some are even combined from two subject areas. Hence, I requested an option to rename the column
In the attached excel, you will be able to see that the same column name is used in different canvas/reports with different logics. I hope that's not overwhelming. Please let me know if you want any additional details from my end.
Thank you again for your time to look into this.
