Saving Calculations and Expression filters in DV (OAC)

Organization Name
Oracle (GCO)
Description
It would be helpful to save commonly used 'My Calculations' in a cataloged folder or repository in data visualization of OAC. As well to be able to save expression filters. If this is intended to have the same impact as custom filters in BI it would be helpful to have them saved and resourced through the Data Panel via a saved location as an attribute.
Use Case and Business Need
Many calculations and expression filters are used across multiple projects and having them saved in a cataloged resource would expedite the creation of new projects.

This would be very useful. You can end up with a long list of unsorted calculations in a project and it would be great to at least sort them (already submitted in Idea Number: 628461) but also order them in separat folder in a worksheet.
And next step would be to have calculations stored in a way that makes it possible to easily select them in other worksheets without having to 'copy and paste' them from one workheet to another.

Workbook calculations are saved with the workbook because they can include data from blended sources. Such calculations will always require both sources to be in the workbook in order to function. Due to this complexity, we are not planning to save them outside of the workbook.
Note that calculations can also be defined on the dataset and as such will be available for all users of the dataset.
We are in the progress of adding a new type of calculation which will be defined in the workbook and will be associated with a specific dataset or subject area. These calculations will be available for other users of the dataset or subject area. There are a few reasons to add these, 1) they are post-agg calculations like 'My Calculation' in the workbook, which is different from the dataset calculations. 2) they can only use columns from one dataset/subject area which means that they do not have the association issue that 'My Calculation' have, 3) they can be defined in a workbook on Subject Areas.
This third type of calculation will resolve the request in this Idea. ETA will be provided in 1H 2023 as the work will progress.

This would be great to have as currently the 'My Calculations' section is very unstructured if we have too many calculations. And its hard to find the calculation measure too. So if we can organize these calculations in the workbook in folders it would simplify things a lot.

This would be great to have! Would save me lots of time especially when working across multiple data sources.
