Organization Name (Required - If you are an Oracle Partner, please provide the organization you are logging the idea on behalf of): Wells Fargo

Description (Required): The datasets created over DV should not be visible on analytics by default, even if the user is having privilege for that particular dataset. This dataset can be created by other user or can be created by the user himself.

User should have an option to decide if a particular dataset should be visible in Analytics or not.

Use Case and Business Need (Required):

All the Business users are able to see the datasets created in DV in classic analytics under Subject areas selection which is creating confusion among the users.

When the number of datasets increase, it will cause even more confusion.

Enhancement Request / Service Request:

SR 3-30950543181 : When datasets are created in DV, users are also able to see these datasets from classic analytics

    @Nithin K I don't agree with your statement:

    "All the Business users are able to see the datasets created in DV in classic analytics under Subject areas selection which is creating confusion among the users."

    This is definitely not true. Users are seeing (when creating new analysis in Answer tool) just those data sets, to which they have at least read permission. So you need to establish security permission rules for your data sets - to achieve what you want.

    I consider the possibility to create "classical" BI objects (analysis, dashboards, prompts) based on DV data set as a realy good feature and our users are taking advantage of it.
