We need OAC and the RPD to be able to be harvested in Oracle's Data Catalog. Then we would be able to do documentation on all objects, whether they are tables, columns, RPD Subject areas, answers reports, DV reports. We would need to have information like:
- who the owner is
- who last modified
- when it was created
- when it was last modified
This would help us make sure we're keeping our environments tidy.

I would like to see this happen:
* ability to export the RPD and Catalog metadata as tables in an Oracle schema.
* (which imples...) ability to use OAC to report on the RPD & Catalog metadata.
* The metadata should include ALL the information used to create the RPD and all the Catalog objects, both DV and classic.
* Ability to modify the exported data and to import it bac into the Catalog and/or RPD.
- If possible, ability to include datasets (outside RPD) as well.
This way, if my users request tasks like "From now on all the currency columns should be edited as 9,999,999 wihtout cents, on all analyses". I would be able to perform the modification on the exported metada and re-import .. Voila.
another use case examples:
* From now on, we want the header column for column "Transaction Amount" to be "Amt", with font size 12pt, color black when positive, color dark-red (#880000) when negative, showing a minus sign when negative, on a light red (#f6b3b6). on ALL reports.
* We need to know on what reports the column "Sales Representative" is used. Plus, on all those reports, we need to include also a column "Sales Manager", located tot he left of the "Sales Representative".
