When DVD will use R v 3.3.x

I just recently installed DVD 12.2.2.1.1-20161222001521. However, it still installing Rx64 3.1.1. When we will be able to use R v 3.3.x?, as several of the new R packages are compiled under R v 3.2 or newer. Can I install manually a newer version of R and update my PATH environment variable to use it together with DVD?

Do we have any date for 3.3 support? will DVD 3.0 support it?

We will move to a later version of R at some point, but not planned for the next few months.  We only support a specific version of R with DVD so that we can maintain consistency and supportability.
