Xml Output issue
Hi Everybody,
I have developed a report in xml using the RDF file, but when I run the report at the end the output is always in xml, anyone can tell me or the problem arises.

Can you please provide some details?
1) Is this new/1st XML report in entire instance/application? or do you have any existing xml reports? if you have existing reports so then ,how those are working?
2)Is this upgrade report?
3) can you check concurrent short name and data definition code should same.
4)how you are going to see the PDF output while clicking on View request.
5) Try to change the Style
6) please provide your log file.

When I try to run xml directly on template it works very well but as soon as I integrate it on oracle the output rest in xml.
i see the name of template when i run the program
- It is not the first reports xml using rdf file, we have others who run very well
- The concurrent short name and data definition have the same name "INVO"

if your template contains bi publisher fields then check each filed one or more will contain junk characters in below

If yes please post the solution , if not please try to update sample rtf , write in the word file --> Hello,how are you? and SAVE it as rtf file.

In case XML data contains special characters you can not get PDF output.
to check this..Save the xml in local desktop and open in Mozila to check if it has any special character. If it contains special character Mozila will highlight it correct those characters until you get proper XML in browser.
