Hi everybody,

I'm designing an excel template for balance-sheet in accounting. As you may know, there are two or more groups of columns in balance-sheet. Let's take the simplest form which has two groups. Eache group includes, lets say, two columns. A description and a value. The problem starts where I need the two groups be placed and filled parallel. For instance, column A and B for group 1 and column D and E for group 2. Suppose group 1 has 10 rows . Now, when the sheet is filled, group 1 rows are filled from row A1 to A10(as expected) but group 2 starts from A11 to ....

Does anybody know the reason and how to fix it?

I can provide a sample faulty Excel file to shed more light on the issue.

    Can you provide of excel file for that, and from where excel read the data?
