Hello, 

  We need to know if database 12c is compatible as JDBC datasource on BI Publisher  11  (11.1.1.7)

   In Administration page >  JDBC , can we use driver  Oracle 9i/10g/11g  as driver type for connection to 12 c database

    Djam, Although Oracle 12c databases are designed to work best with 12c drivers, I was able to connect successfully to a 12c database with BIP 11.1.1.7 using the driver type you mentioned above.

    Additionally, make sure your TNSnames.ora file is properly configured to allowed for the connection to the 12c database.
