I have been successful in printing reports directly to a printer when the report runs (turns out it's simpler with a Postscript printer, to me).

The issue I'm having is when a report is blank when it doesn't select any records.  Now, it prints (or e-mails) a blank page.  Is there an easy way to prevent this( i.e. if no records are found, don't generate the print job or e-mail)?

I am currently using BIP 10g (I know,it's a little dated and I need to find the time to upgrade soon) so if it is better in subsequent releases, I'd like to know that as well.
