Hi,

We have a requirement to display a persistent SSO menu bar across all of our company's web applications including BI. We are setting up a new Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (effectively OBI version 12.2.2.0.0) and I wanted to know if anyone has created any customizations that exist above the top most menu in OBIEE?

There's iframe options in 11g but the web devs don't want to use that. So I was wondering if Oracle allows us to insert out own javascript widgets into the onload event and also whether anyone has done this on their own environment?

Ok first and foremost: Do you have an actual valid reason to even attempt doing this? Why does this have to be a new top-bar?

I have seen customizations that add another bar above the Top menu (header) in Oracle BI. Datavail's BITeamwork does so with their Collaboration plugin. You could ask Datavail how they managed to do it in a proper manner.

One thing I would first try, because I just don't know for sure, is to adjust the skin/styles of OBIEE 12c to see if that helps.
