We need to find the number of files created daily in BIP. Each file is only created in the RTF format. Whether this report is done in BIP, Oracle, or on the filesystem doesn't matter.

Very helpful, Sherry, thanks. Due to environmental safeguards, it will take us several weeks to make the changes for the first link and probably several months for the second. At least the first would be beneficial for me (Middleware admin), so I will do it regardless, but if someone has another option for getting the answer to this without having to change configuration to enable auditing, that would be great as well.

We use BI Publisher only for generating documents based on templates. This is what we need the count of. If each generated document counts as a report, then the count of reports run by user/datetime would be perfect, yes.
