    Because you are using 12.2.1.0.0 or 12.2.1.1.0 or 12.2.1.2.0 without enabling the lightweight SSO.

    In 12.2.1.2.0 you can enable the lightweight SSO (which is enabled by default in 12.2.1.3.0) which solve this thing.

    The reasons are mainly linked to the security cookie and the different path used by VA (/analytics vs /dv or /va etc.).
