PO no on the Subject of the mail
Summary
PO no on the Subject of the mail
Content
Hi Team,
We have designed our PO output in BI Publisher and we are sending the output file to Email through Data Driven Email Delivery.
We are having a DD item defined to print the body of the mail dynamically. The Customer now wants to print the PO no in the subject.
Is it possible to print the Subject of the mail dynamically like we did for Body of the mail ? The subject of the mail will be brought from the description of the DD item (with Data structure).
Please advice.
Thank you.

Yes this can be done using the same DD itself. Please refer below document for more details. In the example shown, company is dynamically added to the subject:
E1: XMLP: How to Setup Dynamic Subject and Body for E-mail Delivery using Embedded BI Publisher with in JDE? (Doc ID 1103153.1)
There are even more enhancements available from TR 9.1.4. Please refer:
E1: XMLP: How to Work with Custom Report Definition Output File Name and File Path Functionality in Tools Releases 9.1.4.0 and Above (Doc ID 1905525.1)
By the way, the best place to ask the E1 embedded BIP queries would be Design Tools & Output Technologies - JDE1 (MOSC)

Thank you Deepak for the documents. I was wondering if we keep &1 in the DD item description will it work or not ? Your reply cleared my doubt.
I am not able to test it since the email issue is not yet solved.
Thank you.
