Hi,

We have created a custom BI Report which is pulling data from AP, GL and Projects. The issue which we are facing is if the user who is running the report does not have access to any of the applications mentioned than the report will not pull the data from that source.

Can any one help me in resolving this as we do not want to grant access for all applications to the users just for running the report.

    What are you asking for here? If he doesn't access and you don't want to give him access...well you're kind of eliminating any viable option.

    Data has to be somewhere and has to be accessed somehow.

    Hi Christian,

    To elaborate on the question, say for example I have two users ( A and B). User A has access to Payables, Project Financial Management and receivable whereas user B has access to Payables and Receivables. Both the users can run custom BI report ( which is pulling data from Payable, Projects and GL). But the data displayed as report output is different for user A and B which is concerning us. We want report should display same output for both the users.

    Is the report output dependent on the standard data access based on the application?
