Query Builder question

Content

Hello.

I'm new to BI Publisher and need some help.

I'm working with the query builder. I add the tables from the left-hand side and then make the appropriate joins and select(tick) the columns to be included in the model.

Then I want to see the selected columns on the Conditions tab. Moving to the Conditions tab I see nothing where the selected columns should appear. It's simply an empty page. Also noticed that even when you click on SAVE it does not generate the query.

I'm I missing something here?

I am going through the Mark Rittman  OBI Developer's Guide examples.

Version is 11.1.1.9

Thank you

I agree Venkat & 3591335 , it is always better to write the SQL rather than using the query builder , etc . Coming to your point I have just tried doing a simple Data Model using the Query Builder and Im able to see the columns selected int he conditions tab as well..

So my guess is it may be a browser issue, try a different browser and check it out..

    Hope this helps

Directly develop the query in Toad or sql developer or sqlplus and paste directly in the data model, its good practice to write.

Thank you all for your answers.

Finally it was a browser problem.

IE had the problem while Firefox was working fine.
