Is it possible to add a parameter which allow user to change and effect on the report?

Summary

Hi experts,

I am working on a report that will need some interactive with user.

There is a parameter which will use in calculation and allow user to change the value of parameter(datatype is double).

Does anyone know how to achieve it?

Presentation variables or request variables

a) DVD forum is that way ;-) --> Data Visualization

b) DVD doesn't have a variables concept at the moment and hence doesn't support what you want.

My bad, I am using Data Visualization Desktop, not the OBIEE.

Do you have any idea on how to use parameter in Data Visualization Desktop？
